Arcona iOS 6.6.6 Update

Explore new augmented realities with Arcona for iOS version 6.6.6, where fantasy meets technology.

📱 Apple recently released iOS 27, which changed system requirements for apps. As a result, on newer iPhones already updated to iOS 27, Arcona crashed right on launch.

We quickly adapted the app to the new iOS. The update is now available on the App Store.

What’s fixed:

🔧 The app launches again on iOS 27

Adapting to the new system brought a few new bugs with it. We fought them off, and now:

🎥 AR camera video is no longer rotated by 90°

✨ Micro-stutters are gone, the image is smooth again

📍 The FIX button works as it should

🔄 Minimizing and returning to the app works correctly

👉 Update via the App Store to get back into the metareality.

🔮 What we’re working on:

📡 Streaming from the metareality. Go live on YouTube straight from the app, with AR objects around you.

🗺 Live on the map. Your stream will appear as a marker at the spot you’re broadcasting from, so viewers can find it right on the Arcona map.

⚡️ AR without installing. We’re testing an Apple technology that lets you open an AR object without downloading the app.
