Building a More Precise and Powerful Metaverse

We know many of you are eagerly following the development of our AR Metaverse and the portal.arcona.io platform.

We want to share the latest news on the work done since the beginning of the year and our key priorities for the upcoming quarter. Rest assured: work isn't just ongoing; it's accelerating in strategically important directions!

Building the Foundation: Economy and Infrastructure

Over the past few months, we have focused on strengthening our platform's fundamentals:

• Refining the Economic Model: We have implemented and continue to refine the price differentiation system for digital lands. You may have seen it in action during our regular sales. This mechanism not only makes current sales more flexible but also lays the groundwork for future market value indication when we relaunch the internal land market.
  

• Infrastructure Optimization: Behind the scenes, continuous work is underway to improve database performance and optimize the server architecture. This is crucial for ensuring the stability and scalability of portal.arcona.io, especially considering the future growth in users and content.
  

Main Priority: Next-Generation Content Placement

In the upcoming quarter, our primary strategic focus is on restoring and significantly enhancing the user content placement feature, without pre-moderation. This isn't just about bringing back an old feature; it's about elevating it to a whole new technological level:

• Goodbye, GPS! Hello, Precision! We are implementing a revolutionary shift: moving from content anchoring based on GPS coordinates (which can have inaccuracies) to using high-precision anchor maps. These maps are generated from unique datasets collected by our own reality scanner.

  
  

• What does this mean? Significantly more precise and stable positioning of AR objects in the real world. This will dramatically improve the user experience and open doors for complex professional B2B solutions where accuracy is paramount.

  
  

• Why now? This leap in positioning technology directly addresses the increased interest and specific requirements from the B2B segment that we've seen since the beginning of the year. Businesses need accuracy and the ability to manage their AR content independently – and we will deliver that.

  
  

• Technical Foundation: To achieve this ambitious goal, significant 'under-the-hood' changes were necessary: the digital land plotting system was overhauled, and, most importantly, we are migrating the map's server-side, originally written in Python, to a significantly more performant and flexible C++ version.

  
  

What's Next?

In parallel with the work on the content placement system, we are preparing for the return of internal trading of land and digital assets between users.

However, the launch of the full marketplace is planned after the successful implementation of the new content placement system, as this is our current flagship project.

We are confident that the chosen strategy and the large-scale technological upgrades we are working on are laying a solid foundation for the future growth and development of the Arcona AR Metaverse.
